Envise, a building systems integrator uniting building automation, mechanical service, and analytics was recently awarded the energy management system expansion project at Cerritos College in Cerritos, California. In addition to Envise, the project team consists of Couts Heating & Cooling, Baker Electric, and Tilden-Coil Constructors, Inc.
As part of the college’s plan for energy conservation, Envise will retrofit the central utility plant with Delta Controls, install electrical, gas, and water metering within 33 buildings, and expand the energy management system. The expansion will allow the central utility plant to run more efficiently and maximize energy savings for all building across the campus.
Overall, Envise’s scope will allow Cerritos College to save about 25 percent in energy consumption through the enhanced central utility plant. The project’s completion is anticipated in October 2016.
