Envise, a building systems integrator uniting building automation, mechanical service, and analytics was recently awarded the airside controls project for Southwest Gas Building B. In addition to Envise, the retrofit project team consists of AMI Mechanical, Red Mesa Electric, and Savi Construction.
Spanning 68,000 square feet, the facility serves as the corporate headquarters, management office, and control center for Southwest Gas Las Vegas. Envise will replacie the existing Alerton system which controls the air handling units, variable air volumes, fan coil units, and the boiler plant within Building Two, as well as provide and install a complete Delta Controls BACnet system to increase environment comfort and energy efficiency. Building Two is the first of the three-building campus to be retrofitted with Delta Controls. Ultimately, the entire project upgrade will integrate the Delta enteliWEB software platform throughout the campus.
The project’s construction phase is currently underway, and overall project completion is anticipated for July 2017.
